Breathwork with Gong with Lene Mcnair

Example of Breathwork with Gong,

Breathwork Description

Breathwork is a powerful technique for exploration, discovery, healing and personal growth. This breathing technique bypasses the critic in our brain and speaks directly to the body. After a session of Breathwork, most people feel clearer, calmer, more satisfied and relaxed. It has the ability to help us reduce stress and open up our internal creativity. You will breathe along to a curated playlist designed to enhance the experience and help you focus.

What you may experience:
  • The ability to manifest a greater abundance
  • The settling of grief and trauma
  • An extended state of consciousness
  • Increased clarity
  • The release of undigested emotions and memories
  • The release of toxins from your cells
  • The release of stress
  • Deep relaxation
  • The ability to surpass the boundaries of the mind
  • Greater self-love and more loving relationships
  • A deeper understanding of oneself
  • Emotional balance
  • Relief from physical pain
  • Overwhelming feelings of joy
  • Deep inner calm

Keep in mind:
  1. Breathing work is best on an empty stomach, so best not to eat approx. 2 hours before class.
  2. Dress warmly and comfortably
  3. You will need a yoga mat, I recommend a warm blanket, and an eye mask if you wish.
  4. Show up a little before class so you can get ready.

Precautions:
Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. It is therefore not recommended for people with a history of cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant physical injury or recent surgery. Breathwork is not recommended for people with severe mental illness, seizure disorders or for people who use strong medication. It is also unsuitable for anyone who has a personal or family history of aneurysms. Pregnant women are not advised to practice breathwork without first consulting and obtaining approval from their GP. People with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult their GP and Breathwork teacher.
